Ester loves food
Ester is truly a lover of food. And cookies. Well, almost anything that is eatable will satisfy her. Temporarily. I wonder where she gets it from?

wet weather
This morning (at 8.25 am) when we left home the weather hadn't really decided wether it was raining or snowing. Ester quickly fell asleep (since she woke up at 5.11 am and couldn't go back to sleep), whereas I struggled through the wetness for 35 minutes to reach her daycare. I was a bit worried since she hasn't been there since before christmas, but she didn't cry more than usual when I left her. I hope she'll be happy when I pick her up (and not too wet after spending all morning outside in the rain/snow).
A few days ago I actually thought winter might arrive at last. It started snowing and was a few degrees below zero. Ester loved it, kept saying things like "look!" and "wow!" and tasted the cold white stuff on the ground. We even had a snowball fight (Ester's first), which consisted of her getting some snow stuck on her mitten and then chasing me with it, trying to scrape it of on my coat, and me screaming "no, please don't get snow on me... it's too cold!". She was extatic.
