Preliminary dissertation date set!
It's always good to plan ahead, and therefore I've booked a preliminary dissertation date: Friday the 13th february 2009. So, anyone who feels like a trip to Sweden for at BIG celebration next year is most welcome to start saving money now... formal invitations will be sent out late 2008 (when the date's confirmed and I'm actually finished with the thesis).

Doctor Isabella!
Last friday, 2008-02-08, Isabella defended her thesis. Naturally she passed, and was properly celebrated! I've written a long recollection of the day on my swedish blog (in swedish, sorry...), but I think these pics say more than words:
